Interactive Audio Tour

The Interactive Audio Tour allows visitors to explore Shannon Aviation Museum at their own pace using their mobile phone. Lasting approximately one hour, the tour provides information about the museum’s aircraft, cockpits, engines and aviation exhibits, making it an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.

Guided Museum Tour

The Guided Museum Tour is led by a member of the Shannon Aviation Museum team and offers a more personal insight into the museum’s collection. Visitors can learn about aviation history, aircraft engineering and technology while getting up close to historic aircraft, fighter jets, cockpits, jet engines and aviation memorabilia.

Aviation Discovery Tour

The Aviation Discovery Tour is an immersive, hands-on experience combining aviation education, flight simulation and a guided museum tour. Visitors can dress up as a pilot, take part in a pre-flight lesson, experience a virtual flight in an Extra 300 aerobatic aircraft and compete in an air race around New York, before exploring the museum’s aircraft and exhibits with a guide.
