Our Commitment
Rory's Travel Ltd T/A Rory’s Travel Club ("RTC") is committed to conducting
business ethically, responsibly and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach
to all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, servitude, child
labour and exploitation. We recognise our responsibility to respect human rights throughout our business operations and supply chain and are committed to taking reasonable and proportionate steps to prevent modern slavery in any part of our organisation.
Our Business
RTC is a travel membership organisation that partners with hotels, travel providers
and corporate organisations to offer exclusive travel benefits to its members. We
operate throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland and work with a wide range of
hospitality and travel partners.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain primarily consists of:
- Hotel and accommodation providers
- Travel and tourism partners
- Marketing and media suppliers
- Technology and software providers
- Professional advisers
- Office and operational service providers
Although we consider the overall risk within our direct operations to be relatively low, We acknowledge that risks can exist within wider supply chains and remain committed to identifying and addressing them where appropriate.
Policies and Standards
RTC expects all employees, contractors, suppliers and business partners to operate
in accordance with applicable laws and ethical business standards.
We are committed to:
- Conducting business with honesty, transparency and integrity.
- Complying with all applicable employment and human rights legislation.
- Opposing all forms of forced labour, compulsory labour and human trafficking.
- Ensuring fair recruitment and employment practices.
- Treating all employees with dignity, fairness and respect.
- Maintaining safe and healthy working environments.
Supplier Expectations
Where appropriate, RTC expects suppliers and business partners to:
- Comply with all applicable labour and employment laws.
- Prohibit forced, bonded or involuntary labour.
- Prohibit child labour.
- Provide safe and lawful working conditions.
- Pay workers fairly and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Respect freedom of association and workers' rights where permitted by law.
Where concerns arise, RTC reserves the right to review supplier relationships and
take appropriate action, including terminating business relationships where serious
breaches are identified.
Due Diligence
As part of our commitment to preventing modern slavery, RTC seeks to:
- Assess potential suppliers before entering into significant commercial
relationships where appropriate.
- Work with reputable organisations that share our ethical standards.
- Review supplier relationships periodically.
- Investigate any credible concerns relating to unethical labour practices.
Reporting Concerns
Employees, contractors and business partners are encouraged to report any
concerns regarding suspected modern slavery, human trafficking or unethical
working practices. Reports will be treated seriously and investigated appropriately. Individuals raising genuine concerns in good faith will not suffer retaliation for doing so.
Training and Awareness
RTC will continue to promote awareness of modern slavery risks amongst relevant
employees and management and will review its policies and procedures periodically
to ensure they remain effective.
Review
This statement will be reviewed annually and updated where necessary to reflect
changes in legislation, business operations or identified risks.
