From the peaceful old Calle Mayor in Triacastela to the vibrant streets of Santiago, this stretch of the Camino Francés is packed with memorable moments. Take the Samos route to visit its magnificent Benedictine abbey, then soak up the buzz of Sarria, the Camino’s most popular starting point. In Portomarín, look for traces of the submerged old town, before sampling Galicia’s famous pulpo in Melide or Arzúa’s delicious local cheese. In Pedrouzo, unwind with a spa, then savour the emotional arrival at Santiago’s spectacular cathedral. Finally, celebrate the week’s adventures together over a generous Italian meal with plenty of food, drink and laughter.

ITINERARY
Day 1: 18th July 2027
Fly from Dublin to Santiago. Upon arrival, you are provided with a private transfer to Triacastela.
Day 2: 19th July 2027
Walk 21km to Sarria. You have the option of walking either by the Samos route (25km) or the San Xil route (17km).
Day 3: 20th July 2027
Walk to Portomarín (22km).
Day 4: 21st July 2027
Walk to Palas de Rei (25km).
Day 5: 22nd July 2027
Walk to Arzúa (29km).
Day 6: 23rd July 2027
Walk to Pedrouzo (19km). Transfer to Santiago for overnight.
Day 7: 24th July 2027
Return transfer to Pedrouzo. Walk to Santiago (20km).
Day 8: 25th July 2027
Free day in Santiago. It’s St. James’ Day and it’s a Holy Year!
Day 9: 26th July 2027
Free morning in Santiago. Local transfer to Santiago airport for flight to Dublin.
