Day 1 – Travel to Corfu

We begin our adventure with a direct flight from Dublin to Corfu. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our tour leader and guide. A comfortable coach transfer will take us to our hotel in Corfu Old Town, where we’ll stay for the next three nights.

Day 2 – Tour of Corfu Town

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our day with a visit to Corfu's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Venetian architecture and charming narrow alleys. We’ll stroll through Spianada Square, one of the largest squares in Greece, and enjoy the elegant Liston Promenade.

Take some free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure before we head to the Old Fortress in the afternoon. From here, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the city and the Ionian Sea. Afterward we will return to the hotel. In the evening, we’ll dine at a traditional taverna, savouring local specialties for a true taste of Corfu.

Day 3 – Day at leisure

Enjoy a day at your leisure with plenty of options to explore or unwind. You can take a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of Corfu Town, visiting quaint shops, cafes, and hidden squares. Explore local museums, such as the Archaeological Museum or the Museum of Asian Art, or simply relax at the vibrant Liston Promenade.

For those seeking relaxation, you can spend the day by the hotel pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene surroundings. Whether you choose to immerse yourself in the town's culture or unwind by the water, this free day offers the perfect balance of relaxation and exploration.

Day 4 – Saranda & Lekursi Castle

After breakfast and check-out, we’ll board the ferry for a scenic 30-40 minute journey from Corfu to Saranda. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our accommodation, followed by free time to relax and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Lekursi Castle, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. In the evening, indulge in traditional Albanian dishes like byrek or tave kosi at a local restaurant, experiencing the flavors of this charming region.

Day 5 – Butrint National Park & Ksamil

Start your day with breakfast before heading to Butrint National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the fascinating ancient ruins, including the impressive amphitheater, temple, and Venetian tower, all nestled within lush greenery. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to Ksamil, renowned for its pristine beaches and charming small islands. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the crystal-clear waters or take a short boat ride to one of the nearby islets. In the evening, return to Saranda for dinner.

Day 6 – Day at leisure

Enjoy a leisurely free day in Saranda, Albania’s stunning coastal gem. Spend the day relaxing on the beautiful beaches, with crystal-clear waters and scenic views of the Ionian Sea. You can swim, sunbathe, or simply unwind in the tranquil surroundings.

Day 7 - Gjirokastër and Blue Eye Spring

After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Gjirokastër, a UNESCO-listed "City of Stone." Explore the historic Gjirokastër Castle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valley. Visit the Ethnographic Museum, once the home of Albania's former dictator Enver Hoxha, to gain insight into the country's past. In the afternoon, make a stop at the Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), a stunning natural spring known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant colors. Return to Saranda in the late afternoon and enjoy a farewell dinner by the scenic seafront, reflecting on a memorable day. **Day 8 – Return to Dublin

Today after breakfast we will have some free time in Saranda. Later, we will board the ferry back to Corfu, where we will have time to catch your return flight to Dublin. End your memorable trip with a scenic journey across the Ionian Sea.

The average temperatures in Corfu and Albania in are 20 to 25°C. Please note that this is our planned itinerary but sometimes due to circumstances outside our control we may have to alter it slightly.
