City of Derry Golf Club is one of Northern Ireland’s historic parkland golf venues, founded in 1912 and situated on the scenic banks of the River Foyle close to the historic walled city of Derry~Londonderry. The club features a challenging Championship Prehen Course and a Dunhugh academy layout, offering 22 holes in total threaded through mature woodland with lush fairways and picture-perfect views over the Foyle Valley and the hills of Donegal. A highlight is the signature short 8th, known locally as “The Crow’s Nest.” The club combines traditional golfing heritage with modern facilities, including practice areas, putting greens, buggy hire and a welcoming clubhouse — making it a great test for golfers of all abilities.
