VidaMar Resort Hotel Madeira occupies one of the most coveted oceanfront locations on the island, on Madeira’s south coast just a short distance from central Funchal. The property is built around a large sea platform with direct access to the ocean and 3 salt-water infinity pools, so the Atlantic is never far from view.

The resort’s oceanfront Thalasso sea spa draws on the surrounding sea, offering soothing therapies inspired by the spirit of the ocean, alongside gentle practices for vitality and more indulgent rituals, complemented by a dedicated fitness centre for guests who want to stay active. On the culinary side, the resort runs 5 different restaurants spanning global and local flavours, from fresh seafood and Portuguese classics to Italian dishes and sushi, all tied together by a “half board dine around” programme that lets guests sample a different restaurant each evening of their stay.
