Hey guys, Amy & Rónan back again! Here to keep you right for your next ski trip to Morzine.

We were buzzing when we seen the new easyJet route from Belfast international to Geneva Switzerland every Sunday! Our return flights with 23kg baggage each were around £200.

With the flights booked we were trying to plan where in the French alps we’re off too! Morzine is just a 1hr 15 minute drive from Geneva airport, has a a great village with lots of bar’s & restaurants and not to mention Les Portes du Soleil is on its doorstep! A major ski sports destination in the alps, made up of 13 ski resorts between Mont Blanc in France and Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Now accomodation is a hard one to get right, we have heard so many horror stories of fake chalets and people getting scammed out of 1000’s! Don’t worry, we’ve got you.

We found a company called More Mountain. They have a range of fully catered ski chalets and luxury self catered apartments, some that sleep as many as 15 people! So when dividing the cost it works out at incredible value! What really topped it for us about this chalet company, we ordered our ski passes through them - they were sat on the table when we arrived. We ordered our ski equipment through them, again, when we arrived all was in the boot room. We booked our transfers through them - picked up in a 8 seater mini van at the airport for £89pp return! Their service has been incredible and we couldn’t recommend them enough. A family run business, the crew are from Manchester and I know us lot at RTC love supporting good people! Yes, having a bed to sleep in at night is very important but, the next thing on our list is ski lessons. To really enjoy your ski trip you need to be confident in what you’re doing and if you’re not there yet, ski lessons are so important. We honestly think we got the best ski instructor in town, Domenico. In total we had 8 hours with Domenico and the difference from we just stepped off the chair lift until we said goodbye was insane. Our last day of lessons was spent on the blue slopes and was a great day of skiing had by all! Domenico is an absolute gentleman, he has 130 5* reviews online and over 20 years of experience.
