An incredible stay from start to finish!

We cannot rave about Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel enough. The rain had just started when we arrived, but as soon as we walked through the doors we soon forgot about that as we were treated by the roaring fire at reception and big smiles!

Checked in and headed straight to our room, on the second floor our views of Dalkey island and the iconic duo - poolbeg chimneys, blew us away. Yep, even in the pouring rain. We especially loved the special touch of sea robes & a leaflet with the tidal times. A 4 minute drive to one of our favourite swim spots in Ireland, the Vico baths.

Booked dinner for 8pm, with Rory’s incredible deal we had a main course and cocktail each included in our rate. The food, service and cocktails were 10/10. We highly recommend the Sirloin and mash 😍

After dinner, it really is impossible to walk past The Library Cocktail Bar. We will definitely be back to try out the afternoon tea in here, everyone raves about the scones.

We had an amazing experience and look forward to returning! Telling all our friends and family about this one, it’s definitely a special gem!
