Is Rory’s Travel Club a Travel Agent?

No, Rory’s Travel Club is not a Travel Agent. We are a third party provider that sends out regular emails with offers from Travel Agents. We do not have access to any booking systems, whether that is booking flights or accommodation.

As an RTC member (Regular or Group) you will have to book everything yourself. Our offer emails outline how to book the various details of your desired trip, such as a discount code, a booking link, or when you need to call to book.

What happens when I subscribe?

Once you sign up you’ll receive an order confirmation from Shopify straight away, and a welcome email from us within 30 minutes. Please check your spam and other folders for these emails as they’ve a tendency to land there. You may need to wait a few days to get your first offer email from us as it depends on when you signed up. If you’ve received the Shopify Order confirmation, then the offer emails will go to the same address and you can start browsing for your next trip!

The welcome email will explain how RTC works, how to take advantage of our offers, an explanation of the different memberships, and a link to join our Facebook Page.

Is it a rolling subscription?

Yes, our Regular or Group memberships are an annual rolling subscription. You will need to cancel your subscription before your renewal date to avoid being charged for another year. You will be sent a renewal reminder 7 days before your renewal is due to the original email that you used to sign up with on our payment system.

How Does Rory’s Travel Club Help Me With My Travel Plans?

Here are the main ways Rory’s Travel Club supports your travel planning!

For a small annual fee (€12) you get access to a selection of travel deals and exclusive discounts, whether that is hotel stays, short-breaks in Ireland and abroad, or spa/activities offers. We send out emails regularly so you can browse for something that fits your schedule and budget.

We also organise Group Trips where members can travel together, which is ideal for solo travellers or want to make connections and memories. We offer specific Whatsapp Groups for Group Trips, and a Facebook Group for members to ask questions, plan meet-ups, and coordinate transports.

What Information About My Accommodation, Flights, and Tours/Activities Will Be Provided?

In our RTC offer emails, there will be images for each offer that you need to click on to open the offer page. On the offer page the full information about the offer is outlined including how to book, dates, T&Cs, etc. If you have specific questions about vaccinations, visas, etc, then we suggest you contact the Travel agent you booked with or complete your own research about the country you are doing a trip to.

For all our offers, you have to book everything yourself as Rory’s Travel Club is not a travel agent and has no access to any booking systems. Our emails will outline how to book, whether that’s with a discount code, a booking link, or a call to book.

Can I swap my membership?

Whether you want to move from a Group Trip Membership to a Regular Membership or vice versa, all of our memberships can only be swapped within 4 weeks of signing up.

When will I get my first email?

Regular members receive emails during the week for deals and offers. Depending on when you sign up, it might be a day or two before you receive your first offer email.

For our group trip members, we only send 2-3 emails a month so you may be waiting a week to get your first group trip email. We do include any trips with availability on each email.

How does it work?

Once you sign up as a Rory's Travel Club Member (either for Group or Regular) you will receive a receipt from Shopify confirming your subscription and then a separate Welcome Email. Our regular offer emails are sent during the week straight to your inbox. Our group trip offers are sent around 2-3 times a month.

Each email will have images that contain the offer details for a selection of Trips. Details include the price, what’s included in the deal, how to book, and any other relevant information. You simply book what interests you and fits around your schedule and budget, as per the image instructions.

What is a Package Trip?

In the package trips that we offer, you book your flight and accommodation through our travel agent partner. On some occasions you can pay it off in installments, but always check the T&Cs with the Travel Agent that is responsible for the trip that you are booking.

What is a DIY Trip?

With our DIY offers, Rory’s Travel Clubs find good value flights out of different airports and you will have to book the flights and accommodation separately and by yourself.


You book as many seats on the plane as needed. The accommodation details that our emails suggest are recommended options to give you an idea of the overall cost. You don't have to book the suggested accommodation and can book whatever suits your budget and preferences.

For the Group Trip Whatsapps and Zoom Calls, how is my data protected?

You will only receive Whatsapps and Zoom Call invites by invitation only and only when you pay for a Group Trip Membership. You must email grouptrips@rorystravelclub.com and ask to be added to the specific Group Trip Whatsapp, which the RTC Admin Team will then send on so you can add yourself to the Whatsapp group.

By sending the invites upon your request, you are effectively opting into sharing your phone number to the group chats to get to know the other RTC members or to organise activities. Your number, name, and other personal details will not be shared by Rory’s Travel Club to any other organisation unless strictly necessary and within GDPR guidelines. At the end of the trip, you are free to remove yourself from the Whatsapp Group.
