Camino

Santiago to Finisterre, Muxía and A Coruña – the Camino Finisterre

16th – 23rd May 2025

From €795pp (Flights not included)

This is a Camino with a difference because all roads lead from, instead of to, Santiago! It is a walk

with a different feel – you are now heading to the sea and to the “end of the world”. Having reached

the lighthouse in Finisterre, you are experiencing a different ending, a different sense of

achievement.

Bonus – The accommodation in Finisterre allows you to walk out the back door and straight on to

the stunning Playa Langousteira.

Add a day’s walk to Muxía to see the Costa da Morte (the Coast of Death) at its most beautiful.

Finish the week with 24 hours in A Coruña where you get to see the Tower of Hercules, the famous

lighthouse from where it’s said that Ireland was first spotted before being invaded by the sons of

Breogan.

The level of difficulty is average – the rolling hills in this part of Galicia are similar in many respects to

the Irish countryside.

Scenic view of a lush, green landscape with a river, bridge, and distant mountains under a blue sky.
